My work on the sniper rifle for Ascendant: Infinity.
The core idea for this gun was that it was constructed from different parts instead of being a made-for-function gun.

The guns on this project were willingly over-the-top, and ending up with the combination of a magazine in the stock and an open bolt required a very silly solution to bullet feeding. This ridiculous but fun mechanism was the end result.
The preliminary sketches. Started with flat design on this one, but ended up moving back to the perspective drawings. 07's plastic moulded parts and jerry rigged feel won out, and those elements moved forward.
The 2 refined variants, both sharing the same core elements. The starting design kept being the strongest, so 01 then went for testing.

I also got to do some modules later in production. The original scope was also found to be too heavy duty and large for the zoom level the defauilt module starts with, so 002 replaced it in the game while the original was moved to an equippable module.
